Sleeve wrapping

Sleeve-wrapping, which is a version of the shrink-wrap technology, is the most useful method for bundling products and protecting them, making them suitable for shipment. This method is also used heavily to prepare packages for discounting and special sales promotions. Usually the purpose of this packaging is not to make the product decorative, instead, to make it practical for shipment. These products are easily recognized because the packaging film does not cover the entire product, but it is open on two sides, and may be easily transported.

Inexpensive solutions may be available for low speed operations (8-10 packages / minute), however automatic and dedicated systems can reach speeds up to over 100 packages / minute.
